The edible passionflower produces extraordinary flowers and fruits with a unique and fragrant tropical taste.
☀️ Light
Full sun. Minimum 6-8 hours of direct sunlight per day for good flowering and fruiting.
💧 Watering
Water generously and regularly during the growing season. Keep the soil slightly moist. Reduce watering in winter.
🌡️ Temperature
Ideal temperature: 20-30°C. Minimum: 5°C for short periods. Some varieties tolerate light frost. Bring indoors in the fall in Canada.
🌱 Fertilization
Potassium-rich fertilizer (tomato type) every 2-3 weeks in spring and summer to promote flowering and fruiting.
🪴 Repotting
Every spring. Large pot required. Rich, well-draining potting soil. Provide support for the climbing plant.
