Spectacular flowering in the shape of a parrot's beak, bright colours.

An easy-to-grow tropical plant that flowers profusely all year round under good conditions.


☀️ Light

Partial shade to bright indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight which will scorch the leaves. Ideal near an east or west-facing window.

💧 Watering

Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water as soon as the surface dries. Prefers high ambient humidity.

🌡️ Temperature

Ideal temperature: 18-25°C. Minimum temperature: 12°C. Protect from cold drafts. Houseplant in Quebec.

🌱 Fertilization

Liquid fertilizer for flowering plants every 2 weeks during the growing season. Reduce in winter.

🪴 Repotting

Every spring. Use a rich, well-draining potting mix. Prefers slightly cramped pots.

✂️ Size

Pinch the stems regularly to encourage branching and abundant flowering. Remove faded flowers.
