'Dwarf Orinoco' is the compact version of the Orinoco : a very robust banana tree, tolerant of Wind and relative coolness make it perfect for growing in pots or greenhouses. Its fruits Thick and slightly angular, they are best enjoyed fresh when ripe (sweet flesh, lemony note) or cooked greens (fried, boiled, tostones).

Quick guide
- Mature height (pot/greenhouse): ~1.5–2.4 m (5–8 ft) depending on pot volume and heat.
- Fruits: medium to large, thickened and square; yellow skin when ripe.
- Light: full sun to very bright (6–8 h+).
- Ideal temperature: 20–32 °C; avoid < 10 °C (bring indoors before any frost).
- Watering: regular; allow the top of the substrate to dry slightly between waterings.
- Substrate: aerated potting soil + perlite/coco; impeccable drainage .
- Fertilizer: during active growth, rich formula (e.g., 20-8-20) every 1–2 weeks.
