Musa 'Velutina' , also called the pink banana , is a renowned compact ornamental banana plant for its bright pink flowers and fruit . The small bananas, covered with a fine down, open They ripen naturally to reveal a white pulp. An ideal potted plant to create an effect tropical even in cold climates.
