'Lacatan' (also spelled Lakatan ) is a dessert banana variety highly prized in tropical Asia for its sweet, aromatic fruit with yellow-orange flesh . Grown in pots or greenhouses, it offers an upright growth habit and a generous yield in warm, sunny conditions.
