Brugmansia is often classified among the more compact varieties, ideal for smaller spaces.

• Colour & flowering: light or pastel flowers, very graceful.
• Fragrance: pleasant, discreet to moderate scent.
• Growth habit & size: more compact habit than some larger varieties, easy to contain in a pot.
• Use: perfect for terrace, sheltered balcony or small greenhouse.
• Relative hardiness: not hardy in Canada; to be grown in a pot or greenhouse, protected from frost.

• Light: full sun, gentle to partial sun; gradually acclimate to direct sunlight outdoors.
• Watering: This plant requires a lot of water in summer; keep the substrate fresh but well-drained, especially in pots.
• Substrate: rich and well-draining potting soil (like potting soil for balcony planters or flowering plants, with a little compost).
• Fertilizer: Fertilizer for flowering plants or tomatoes every 1–2 weeks during the growing season.
• Temperature: gradually move outside as soon as nights remain above 10–12 °C; return inside before the cold returns.
• Wintering: indoors in a bright location (greenhouse, cool, bright room) or in partial dormancy in a cool, frost-free location with very limited watering.
