Care Sheet – Cultivation in Quebec

• Light: bright partial shade to gentle sun; outdoors in summer, avoid scorching and dry locations.
• Watering: regular watering; the substrate should remain moist to wet, especially during hot periods.
• Substrate: rich, humus-rich potting soil, tolerant of humidity but still well-draining in pots.
• Temperature: optimal growth between 18 and 30 °C; protect from cold below 10–12 °C.
• Fertilizer: fertilize every 2–3 weeks during the growing season for XXL foliage.
• Outdoor cultivation: excellent in large pots or very moist beds in summer; bring pots indoors or dig up bulbs before the first frosts.
