Loquat ‘Yenuda’ (Japanese Loquat)
The ‘Yenuda’ loquat is a highly sought-after variety known for its exceptionally large, fleshy fruits with a bright orange skin. The flesh is juicy, sweet, and very aromatic, with a rich flavor reminiscent of apricot and peach.
Its large, dense, tropical-looking foliage also makes it an excellent ornamental plant, perfect for growing in a greenhouse, sunroom, or any very bright indoor space.
Under optimal conditions, loquats can bloom in winter and produce fruit in spring, even when grown in pots in Canada.
