'Carrie' is one of the most prized tasting mangoes: meltingly tender, fiber-free flesh, rich and spicy aromas (notes of carrot/muscat depending on ripeness). A naturally compact tree, perfect for growing in pots in cold climates and in greenhouses in Quebec.

Strengths

• Premium taste: very aromatic, sweet, complex, zero fiber.

Growing (pots or greenhouses)

• Light: full sun (6–8 h+), supplemental lighting useful in winter.
• Temperatures: ideal 20–32 °C; avoid < 10–12 °C.
• Container: 30–60 L (progressive); impeccable drainage.
• Substrate: aerated and draining (premium potting soil + perlite/pozzolana/coconut).
• Watering: regular during growth; reduce between cycles; never waterlogged.
• Fertilizer: balanced in spring, more K/Mg before and during flowering.
• Size: pinching after harvest to maintain 1.8–2.5 m and densify.
• Fruit set: slight movement/ventilation or pollinators in greenhouses.
