'Nam Doc Mai' is a highly sought-after Thai variety prized for its ultra-sweet flavor with honey/floral (sometimes vanilla) notes, its tender flesh, and its low fiber content. It is very well suited to growing in pots and greenhouses thanks to its good tolerance to pruning and its ability to remain compact with regular pinching.

Strengths

• Watering: regular during growth; allow the surface to dry slightly between waterings; never waterlogged.
• Fertilizer: balanced in spring; increase K and Mg before/during flowering and fruit set.
