Variety: Angie. Type: Potted mango tree.

• The fruit: Semi-dwarf 'condo' type variety, early, with fibreless flesh, of quality comparable to Alphonso. Good disease tolerance, an important point in humid growing conditions.
• Ideal if: you have little space and want a compact mango tree, productive in a pot.
• Good to know: semi-dwarf tree: it stays more compact than a standard mango tree, but it still needs pruning to keep its shape in a pot.
• Size & habit: small compact tropical tree, well suited to pot culture in Quebec, with regular pruning.
• Relative hardiness: not hardy in Quebec; grow in a pot, always sheltered from frost.
• Size received: 1 plant in a 10" pot.
• Availability: pre-order; delivery or pickup in May-June 2027. Limited quantity.

Care sheet - Growing in Quebec

• Light: Full sun 6-8 hours per day (south window, greenhouse, or outdoors in summer after acclimatization).
• Growing medium: Very well-draining potting mix, such as Pro-Mix HP or similar, with a little perlite.
• Watering: Let the top of the mix dry between waterings; avoid letting water stand in the cachepot.
• Fertilizer: Fruit-tree fertilizer every 2-3 weeks during the growing season.
• Temperature: Bring the plant indoors before nights drop below 5 °C; never expose to frost.
• Overwintering: Very bright room, cool to temperate; reduced watering but without letting the mix dry out completely.
