Loquat Champagne (Japanese medlar)
The 'Champagne' loquat is a variety known for its pale yellow fruit with very juicy, sweet, and slightly tart flesh. Its delicate and fragrant flavor makes it one of the most popular varieties for fresh consumption.
The tree is vigorous, decorative, and evergreen, with beautiful dark green foliage. It grows very well in a pot, allowing it to be kept indoors during the winter in Quebec and moved outdoors during the summer to encourage growth and flowering.
